On 10th July 2021, I posted that my story was selected for a competition that was to begin on 1st August 2021. When the day came, the first thing I did was search for the email from Blooming Kalakar that would include an attached link to my story. I was very disappointed to find that I had received nothing. My gut churned anxiously, as I waited but soon enough I completely forgot all about it because I was overwhelmed with work. And when I wasn’t busy with work, I got busy meeting up with my tattoo artist. Even amidst my hectic schedule, I made it a point to check my mail every day. It was not until today that the idea struck my mind to check my spam. That was when I found what I was looking for. I don’t know why an official email ended up in the spam folder, but I’m glad that I found it, and that I am not too late to join the competition.
